We’re looking for a detail-oriented, responsible, tech-savvy candidate who is interested in local agriculture, community events, agritourism, and advertising/marketing strategies & implementation.

Duties:

Supporting Farm Trails day to day operations and with events including the Gravenstein Apple Fair. Responsibilities include: assisting with execution of marketing and advertising strategies, implementing social media campaigns & outreach, updating websites FarmTrails.org and GravensteinAppleFair.com, tracking data/metrics/analytics, managing communications with members/vendors/contractors/general public, administrative/office support, and delivery.

Our mission is to ensure the continuing economic viability of Sonoma County agriculture by instilling an appreciation of food & farming as a vital part of our community and lifestyle. Farm Trails has played a significant role in our food & farming community since 1973 and serves as an advocate for family farmers and producers. We distribute over 40,000 copies annually of our printed Map & Guide, a treasured local resource. Our seasonal tours draw over 20,000 visitors a year, and our annual fundraiser, the Gravenstein Apple Fair, is a large scale production with 15,000 Bay Area attendees.  A pioneer of the modern local food movement, Farm Trails is the original agritourism organization.

Compensation:

Negotiable, based on experience. This job is part time, ~10+ hours a week with some weekends required.
